I also used Taxpayer Folder (TPF) to check the other entities returns to confirm how the entity is classified under the other returns since the other returns need to have the entity as a Limited partner which 3 did but 1 didn’t.

Thus, the way adolescents socialize has profoundly shifted, moving toward online activities, and away from face-to-face social interaction. Other activities that typically do not encompass screens have also deteriorated: Adolescents spent less time attending religious services, less time reading books and magazines , and (perhaps most crucially) less time sleeping (Twenge et al 302). These declines are not due to time spent on homework, which has declined or stayed the same, or time spent on extracurricular activities, which has stayed about the same. This creates the possibility that iGen individuals are less happy because their increased time on digital media has displaced time that previous generations spent on non-screen activities linked to happiness (Twenge et al 309).

Digital media activities may also have a direct impact on well-being. This may transpire via upward social comparison, in which people feel that their lives are inferior compared to the glamorous “highlight reels” of others’ social media pages (Twenge et al 310). For decades, the Criminal Justice System has been accused of poor responses to rape and sexual assault. Jenkins, 2017 presents a research that seeks to understand the use of rape myths at trial by observing how they are made relevant despite increasing awareness of the realities of rape. There has been limited consideration as to how rape prevention programs and policies can address this phenomenon, and there is no updated information on the demographic, attitudinal, or behavioral factors currently associated with rape (Jenkins, 2017). For example, the myth that women lie about sexual assault may contribute to law enforcement personnel not accepting a woman’s sexual assault claim and deeming it a false report or “unfounded.” This boosts the belief that women often make false claims of sexual assault and leads law enforcement to be more skeptical the next time a woman claims assault, thereby fueling the “she’s lying” myth(Jenkins, 2017). Unfortunately, though, sexual assaults that do conform to the prototype reinforce rape myths as well. Although these women are more likely to be believed and these cases more likely to be prosecuted, giving legitimacy to the prototypical assault and dismissing the atypical assault reinforces the prototype and the rape myths that support it (Jenkins, 2017). The more rape myths are used in the media, the more accessible they are to those responding to sexual assault victims and the harder it is to eliminate sexual assault (Jenkins, 2017). Rape myths prevent justice for rape victims, for women, and for the society and hence, there is a compelling need to reveal the lies, and misogyny behind the myths.

Conclusion

When people live with integrity and honesty, they can do business easily. This is because there is trust with the absence of stealing through corruption and lying through bribes and so there is peace and justice. Integrity and honesty promote the economy and stability.

The Sixth Commandment and the Ninth Commandments both explicitly warn against immoral behaviors sexually. The sixth commandment is “Do not commit adultery” and the ninth “Do not covet your neighbor’s wife. With ought the two Commandments many families can severely be affected by the sin of adultery and fornication among other sexual sins which result in the separation of married couples and lowers the molarity in the society. Therefore the two Commandments are vital in our families to ensure that the family and the society as a whole do not break through these separations such as divorce.

Our culture is used to follow the Commandments with so much strictness that when someone was found guilty of the sin, he or she would feel a lot of shame. When third world nations are faced with epidemics, lack of healthcare, poverty, poor education, terror attacks and other problems, they rely on the first world countries for aid. Though the rich countries should take the criticism about aid positively so that the people involved in development can retain credibility in the long-term, the governments in developing countries should be accountable and come up with ways to reduce aid dependency through utilization of their natural resources and deal with the issues such as corruption and inequality which are the main causes of poverty. Rich countries are also facing internal challenges that may be more critical than the problems in the poor countries; therefore they should not be looked up to intervene in helping less fortunate countries.

In their analysis book “why nations fail” Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson explicitly tell the world that most of the problems faced by developing countries are mainly are a result of hindrance from political and economic institutions. Korea is one of the best examples that they use a same nation; North Korea happens to be from among the poorest of the countries on earth while the South is among the richest.  The Southern Nation forged a society that created incentives, gave back to innovation, and encouraged public participation in economic opportunities. Therefore the economic success was maintained because the government became accountable and responsive to citizens and the great mass of her people. Meanwhile, the people of the North have gone through seasons of famine, political oppression, and very different economic institutions. The difference between the two Korean nations is due to the politics that created these completely different institutional trajectories (70 – 71).

In their analysis, the two authors give an insight on how countries can grow their economies and can have sustainable growth. They say that for nations to attain the good economy success they need to focus on establishing credible political and economic institutions that will support and protect the willingness of their people to innovate, invest and develop. This insight is an eye opener to all third world countries that rely on the first world nations for aid. Instead of waiting for the grants that somehow ends in a few great individual pockets and fail to accomplish the intended purpose of helping the poor in the society. The governments in the developing countries should focus on enhancing good governance that will support, encourage and reach out to the least in the society who have innovative ideas but have no support.

Regrettably no matter what amount of dollars the rich countries would give to the poor countries; it will never be the enough to pay for the solutions to all the problems the least privileged face in the society. Jeffrey D Sachs ones said that Africa could be saved with seventy-five billion a year in western aid. He further restated by arguing that the elimination of African poverty can be achieved through state planning. In his view, governments should need to improve on agriculture technology and focus on the public healthinfected.

However, his later argument may be considerable, but there is still more to be done by the governments in these regions to reach out to the uneducated. The people who are leading this country should start by coming up with ways to educate the illiterates in the society by giving accessible and quality education. In doing so, they will be able to close the gap between the elite and the poor in the society. And therefore have an easy way of dealing with most of the problems and preserve their resources. After improving the level of literacy in their countries, it will be easy to control the health problems since people will be enlightened on how to live better lives.

Paradoxically, while people in the rich countries approach Africa’s problems emotionally rather than seeking the real evidence, most of the Africa’s private wealth is held abroad, much of it in Swiss bank accounts. According to Paul Collier, some of the foreign organizations also perpetuate research and ask for aids. A good example that he has out into the exposure is the British Charity Christian Aid which has been commissioning dubious Marxist research on free trade. Collier also brought into the lime light the fact that most of the civil wars in the African countries between the governments and the rebels are not about the heroes and the freedom fighters, but they are mainly started by self-interested individuals (123).

There are many ways that the rich countries can help the poor countries besides the giving of Aids which doesn’t seem to help the people in the actual need. The rich can open up trade barriers so that the developing countries can sell their goods in one way. Another way is by removing subsidies so that imported goods can compete fairly. And thirdly they can forgive debts. That has mostly accumulated in the poor countries. By doing so, the poor countries will be able to grow economically and support their people needs and reduce the financial dependency from the rich countries (Should Rich Countries help poor ones, 4).

Furthermore, African countries should link extraction of their natural resources with plans to reduce and boost a balanced growth. The governments should initiate projects that will create more jobs through linkages with the economy.   Robb argues that ” they should come up with ways that they can use to process natural resources before exporting them to the rich countries; they can also bring extra value to the national economy.” She also adds that the governments ought to spend their revenues fairly since “public spending is the key mechanism that connects state funds with the wider population” (4). Most of the time, government spending is largely skewed against the poor.

African governments must ensure that transparency and accountability are the core values in their natural resource policies. Through transparency, they will be able to deal with corruption. The corruption that is perpetrated primarily by people from within the nations and individuals also from the rich countries, who find their way to the resources through promising dubious or setting up cheap projects so that they can steal from the helpless and needy people. Kende argues that G8 and G20 governments must do more to ensure transparency and accountability, especially in the extractives industries.  She continues to say that some extraction generates healthy profits that do not translate into commensurate government revenues (7).  These taxes can be used to fund projects that can create job opportunities for the jobless in the society.

In conclusion, rich countries should not entirely be expected to help the poor countries since they have their problems too and more, so the poor nations have equal opportunities to advance their economy and be able to solve their problems. And if the rich have to help the poor countries in any way, it can be better if they focus on giving the solution that can help these countries develop instead of giving the old tradition Aid of medication, money and relief food among others. They should move on to helping the poor countries to trade, advice more on how they can utilize their natural resources, and also encourage them to live in peace instead of encouraging the civil wars in the nations by sidelining with certain parties.
