Please answer the following questions:

  1. Assume you are the manager in a small restaurant; you are responsible for hiring employees, supervising them, and recommending them for promotion.  Create a list (a minimum of 3) of potentially discriminatory management practices you should avoid.  Explain the importance of avoiding each one listed.
  2. Explain why strategic planning is important to all managers.  Support your answer.
  3. Why, in summary, should managers think of staffing, training, appraising, and paying employees as a talent management process?  Support your answer.
